This project is part of the Barcelona University Health Sciences Campus extension in Bellvitge, located south of Barcelona. The new building is a large horizontal volume, with a ground floor for public access that connects directly to the redesigned public spaces, enhancing accessibility and interaction.
The building is positioned perpendicular and adjacent to the existing academic structure, ensuring easy and direct connection between facilities. The base features concrete walls and large glass sections, while the upper levels are organized according to programmatic needs and building orientation.
As a whole, this university building in Bellvitge serves as a socially unifying element for the growing campus, fostering collaboration, accessibility, and a strong visual identity within the Barcelona University Health Sciences Campus.
