The centre is situated in the Ensanche of Barcelona, in premises on two floors in a recently erected residential building. The space for this medical centre specialising in image diagnostics is developed from the entrance and flows of patients and supplies; determined also by the positioning of the diagnostic machines, depending on their physical characteristics and frequency of use.
Public access is designed in the form of a glazed passage, which will be the entrance and exit for patients and their companions. The technical access is used for staff, supplies, waste and stretchers. Each access has its own vertical communications unit, thus creating differentiated routes. The ground floor houses the more complex equipment, with a lower rotation of patients, while the smaller machines with greater rotation of users are located on the first floor.
