PINEARQ AT THE FIRST ARCHITECTURE AND HEALTHCARE SYMPOSIUM
The symposium’s aim was "to meet the demands of professionals and clients, to verify experiences and to discuss the best options from all healthcare and architectural perspectives." During the event, some architectural projects were presented that had an emphasis on the users’ well-being, on the optimization of spaces and human resources, on energy efficiency, and on the development of healthcare processes.
Pinearq participated on a round table focused "on the improvement possibilities in management and maintenance of healthcare centres." The moderator was Luis Manuel Sagrero, representative of Barcelona’s Association of Surveyors, Technical Architects and Building Engineers (CAATEEB, in Spanish), and we shared our experience with VOPI4, FAMA and Prytanis representatives. Abraham showed and emphasized on DIN2BIM, a project which is under development together with the Hospital del Mar de Barcelona. It is both a methodology and a platform to incorporate Data Intelligence for Buildings: from design, through construction, to the daily management of those complex buildings. The prototype integrates multiple IoT devices to provide new insight about the hospital’s operations and performance.
