The 22,779 sq. mt. of this research and development center will be occupied by around 500 specialists in science and technology who will investigate about light construction. Airbus is the main tenant of this new space with 300 employees who will focus on the future of the aviation industry.

Part of the economic policy of the region is to encourage the close cooperation between different disciplines. This is why this cutting-edge nucleus was created, which has also been built with the latest technologies. The center is strategically located on the site and is structured as an open-linear building, and then fragmented into blocks to adapt to location’s scale.

The two first floors are designed for laboratories and the next two for offices. Two green patios allow natural air and light to enter to the compact base of the labs. The main entrance is a double-height lobby that can be used as an exhibition hall; from this entry anyone – even for neighbors and pedestrians – has clear access to the cafeteria and the auditorium.
