ALBERT DE PINEDA PARTICIPATES IN THE AADAIH + SPAIN VIRTUAL EXCHANGE
On August 26, Albert de Pineda participated in the 16th Digital Exchange organized by the Argentine Association of Architecture and Engineering (AADAIH). In this debate on hospital architecture in times of pandemic, Albert explained our experience at the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona during the pandemic's peak, between this years' March and April.
In the exchange, moderated by Miguel Sartori from AADAIH, Luis González Sterling, from Árgola Arquitectos, Francesc Pernas, from Casa Solo Arquitectos, and Alberto Marjovsky, from Marjovsky-Urruty Arquitectos also participated. We highlight the final debate (from 1:29:15 on the YouTube transmission) in which the participants were able to argue about the different solutions proposed both in Madrid and Barcelona and in some Argentine cities. They emphasized the importance of the human being in emergencies and the urgent need to renew hospital infrastructures in both countries.
